Who I am
This is the personal website of Erick Kamanda, a freelance developer based in Nairobi, Kenya. I am responsible for the details you send through it.
What the contact form collects
When you send the contact form, I receive your name, your email address and your message. If you fill them in, I also receive your store or website address, your platform and the service you chose.
Netlify, which processes the form, also records technical details about the submission, such as your IP address and browser.
Why I collect it
I use these details only to reply to your inquiry. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not sell your details or share them for marketing.
Where it is processed
Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify Forms, part of the service that hosts this site. Netlify is based in the United States, so your details may be processed there. You can read Netlify's privacy policy (opens in a new tab). A copy of each inquiry is also emailed to me through Resend, an email delivery service, so I can reply quickly. If you and I then talk by email, your messages are also kept in my email account.
How long it is kept
I keep inquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact, so I can refer back to our conversation, and then delete them. If we work together, I keep what I need for that project and for my records.
Asking for your details to be deleted
You can ask to see your details, correct them or have them deleted at any time by emailing hello@erickkamanda.com. I will reply within 30 days.
